NEAR Foundation is pleased to announce a partnership with Everclear, the cross-chain clearing and settlement protocol for stablecoins and major digital assets. As Everclear plugs into NEAR Intents as a major technical enabler and rebalancing mechanism in its solver network and works on integrating NEAR’s tech to scale its offerings, NEAR Foundation is making a strategic investment into Everclear to help the protocol respond to exploding demand.
“Partnering with the NEAR Foundation enables Everclear to scale liquidity in the system and target billions in monthly volume over the next 12 months,” said Everclear Foundation CEO Dima Khanarin. “With hundreds of stablecoins and new appchains like Robinhood launching, the cross-chain clearing market for digital assets is poised to surpass $1 trillion.”
NEAR and Everclear share a deep commitment to solving liquidity fragmentation across chains. Adopting NEAR’s Chain Abstraction stack further strengthens Everclear’s robust clearing, netting, and automated rebalancing infrastructure, which helps make multi-chain liquidity feel invisible and frictionless—similar to how Visa and SWIFT have connected fragmented banking systems into a seamless financial network.
"Unifying liquidity for both human and AI users is a key mission for NEAR and the Intents ecosystem,” said NEAR co-founder Illia Polosukhin. “We're happy that Everclear will utilize NEAR Intents for cross-chain clearing and settlement amid the proliferation of stablecoins, chains, and new asset types in the market today—we see a great opportunity in our work together."
So what does frictionless multi-chain liquidity mean in practice? With Everclear as a clearing layer, solvers, intent bridges, and CEXs can rebalance major crypto assets and stablecoins at near-zero rates, while moving as much as $5 million in a single transaction. With automated on-chain rebalancing, teams don’t need to move funds manually or trust centralized exchanges. And netting—the principle that, if Alice owes Bob $100 and Bob owes Alice $90, only the $10 net difference needs to be moved in one transaction rather than $190 across two—means that new chains and tokens launch more efficiently, with less liquidity needing to be seeded, at lower costs.
